View Full Version : STUPID F*%%'N BUG DEFLECTOR

So I was waxing my car on the weekend and attempted to remove my bug deflector.

I didn't realize how permenant these thing were.

In an atempt to remove some of the plugs that hold the deflector I broke one, so I didn't try to get the other one off.

Is there a trick to this?

This bitch goes on a lot easier than it come off.

what plug were you trying to get off?? the ones that are screwed into the centre underside of your hood?? or the rubbery ones that sit on top of your hood?? or the ones that are attached to the corner of your hood attached to the bug deflector??

btw, which brand of bug deflector do you have?? mine is "form fit"

the one i have is done by Mazda with it's logo, they told me you have to break that plastic clip inorder to remove the bug deflector. i am quite mad after i got it install.

man that blows!! thank goodness my dealer decided to put on an aftermarket non-mazda one for me.....
