Hey!

Does anyone know the process on how to install a TWM Short shifter and a Kartboy bushing? Is it hard?

I'm planning to buy them, but I'm not too confident with installing it myself. Do you know where I can get it installed?

Thanks!

15-20 mintues for the kartboy.....

the instructions on how to install the TWM should be included in the box...if not visit the website. Pretty straight forward......you will need "snap ring" pliers..... I hope thats what you call them.

Thanks for the reply..

Do I need to lift up the car onto jacks?

And is there anything that could go wrong?

Yes, you will need to put the car on stands or ramps. The first part you will do from inside the car, which is removing the console to get access to remove the C clip. Once you have the inside part done you will need to go under the car to remove the nut on the shifter linkage. Changing the bushing on the linkage where it connects to the transmission was the most time consuming part for me. Mostly trying to get the stock bushing out since it is one piece and you need to pull or push it through the linkage to remove it.
Also be sure to bend the heatshield down slightly so the shifter doesn't rub.
