Does anybody have flamethrower kit on their vehicle? I am really considering getting one cuz people piss me off driving so close behind me. Would I get in trouble if cop seen me shooting flames out of my exhaust?

it will ruin your cat, o2 sensors and your engine. yes police would get you in trouble. and if you shoot flames at the wrong person, they might shot bullets at you.

if you really want to do it, set up a seperate propane tank and nozzle so it will just shoot fire and not wreck your engine and exhaust parts. i almost did it once, when i was 16. i've always wanted to do it for a "king of the hill" (race your own car) at barrie speedway. since its dark and its a good show.

honestly, this is the stupidest idea ever. Throwing flames out the back of your car is just dumb. There's no reason for it.

hahaahh
Funny thing is it's actually an option in South Africa on your car. Not out the back but along the sides for theft.

so it's just like adding big wheels, big stereo, stickers or changing the colour of your car then? no reason for it?

its pretty dumb on an import that can't backfire on its own (like big turbo car's etc.) but for the hot rod scene or if you have a hardcore chopper or harley i think it's a must have mod imo. :p

shooting fire out the back of your car AT ANOTHER CAR THAT'S "FOLLOWING TOO CLOSE" is NOTHING like adding big rims, big stereo, stickers, etc. Last time I checked, big rims / big stereos can not damage the car behind me, or worse....an innocent person walking by.

i disagree... get a nice heavy built rotary engine, no emissions, and let er rip to 9000rpm and shift and see some nice flames. Worked nicely on my RX7 when civics were tailgating me :P

i'm talking about why these kits exist in the first place. they are created as a show piece to show off to people. obviously shooting flames at people with intention to intimidate or harm is stupid. so if you use it as its intented, as a show piece, then its the same as any other show mod in my books. just a little more dangerous than others. i'd rather have flames shooting from my car than underbody neons any day. :D

Just save that money and get yourself a turbo kit. Then you can have fun while you're shooting out flames. :D

Drive faster and stay out of the left lane.

Change lanes, pull into a drive way till they pass, speed up, slowdown, turn on a street.

I can go on and on

fake (or real) gun rack in the rear window? bumper sticker that says " i'm not afraid to go back to jail"?

but really if you are having trouble with people 'gating you all the time you drive to slow. :p

my buddy had an old beat up VW golf with a busted rear washer spray nozzle. It actually sprayed backwards AWAY from the rear glass and directly towards the rear driver.

handy little way to piss off the driver behind you...
