just called rev performance and asked em about the autoexe front lip

it goes for 600 CAD but the dealer says we could get a discount if i could get 4 other ppl who are interested.

depending on the type of deal we are getting on it, i may be interested in acquiring such an item (i would say more or less 75% but again depends on price)......does anyone know how much it would cost to paint it black mica??

Depends where you get it painted...you can go to macco and pay 100$ or bring it to another place and pay 350.

If you want it black you'd be better off getting the DGM one that is carbon fibre - like Jasons (YP5) The Auto Exec comes in urethan colour!! ie. Not painted. I have the Auto Exe, and my opinion is that it is not worth it. Others will tell you different. But that is my two cents. Infact i have sold it!

im pretty sure it is cheaper than 600! Says 375 US. So depending on brokerage, tax, shipping etc. it will work out to be close. Give them a call maybe you can get a discount cause a few other people from the club have ordered them from their too.

You cab also get one which is made of fiberglass (it is all black i believe), and it will run you about 295 US.

i would prefer to get a urethane front spoiler cause it's much stronger......i'm not sure how strong getting a CF or FG one will be when you drive around cause i've seen some pretty banged up FG kits that looked horrid when they got dinged.....

Hey jali-p5, fibre glass sucks. Like you said, fibre glass is going to look like crap after a while...(stone chip etc.) trust me. I know from experience. Maybe be cheaper now, but in the long run your going to wish you had the urethane which is more durable.

Last time we tried to organize a group buy with rev for the autoexe lip I belive they quoted 550$.   Not much is going to get knocked off the price.

Whereas DGM will prolly give you a 15% discount.

The thing is with DG lip is that either you get FG or CF. Don't really want neither. Seriously, FG really SUCKS...You'll probally spend more money trying to fix chips and cracks. Specially if your cars too low.

Midnightp5, and understand that the price is extremely steap for a lip. I probally won't pay 600 bills for a lip...but hoping we can get a better deal. I'm going to see a friend at Honda today to see if he can order it for dealer price. He will always give it to me at his cost price...lets wait and see. I'll keep you posted.

when they quoted the $550 last time, was that before or after taxes, cause if it was after taxes, then that would be a good deal......

i totally agree w/ my_mp5 that anything but urethane is crap and the cost you pay upfront will eventually pay off in the end if the FG or CF pieces get banged up....you're not really saving that much cause you still paying about the same price in CDN (295US = 450CDN)

Alright how many people want these lips, ill get you a price, it will not be the best price, but it will be a price for someone who can actually get you the lip and send it to you.. Ill do this tomorow and post, then you will all see the actual cost of the lip, it seems you guys are squabling over 50$. remember this is from Japan, its not going to be cheap! even if you say group buy, 4 people is hardly a group buy the most you will save is shipping. and that will be minimal anyway. i will do this tomorow for you.
While im on the topic thought i would add if anyone is interested in Mint blue again, i know this thread has gone out many times, but i need a rearbumper now i have my front and sides done.
