View Full Version : Club T-shirts Revisited

Reading Seadoo's original thread that went for 8 pages in 'IDLE CHATTER', many of us expressed interest in purchasing some club clothing gear. Mr. Seadoo had some contacts that looked fairly reasonable and innovative.
There were 3 designs that were put out. There was Westside Daves', Chop's and Tax's design with revisions to it.
I was wondering if we as a group had come to a consensus, and was this the original idea to have some sort of fund raising drive in which proceeds could cover club memberships for us, the hardcore!!.
Since this is not my jurisdiction and I respect the ownership of the individual artists work, I am just dying to get a couple t-shirts and possibly sweats made up for myself, group or no damn group vote.
What's the status on the situation?
And can we expect a serious poll voting on the final product and design offerings?

Even so, it would still be spelled wrong.

Sorry Davie!
I just thought that you commanded 2/3 of child labour in South East Asia. The quality of their work has been dipping. They don't sew the Nike shoes, and Adiddas soccer balls like they used to. The children are talking that union crap again.
Poor lighting, shortened hours, and cramped working conditions. It's time for us to crack the whip again.
my apologies!!!

Hey!
Wasn't that the lil' red haired dood looking like Alfred E. Neuman a.k.a. 'MAD' that got punched in the face.
I contact my Westside rep on fees these days and I like to present cash up front for every little thing.
I too am often an organizer of events at my workplace; collecting and prepaying for $#it in advance from non-committed people is frustrating.
To date, I haven't heard anything or a tally to see who really wants one. I guess everyone wants to see the final product and purchase at their leisure.
I am in agreement with you!!!!

Hey $20 going once but only if you guys include chop's logo if not I will make my own press on. Not as nice but at least the logo won't blow.
Really don't like that second "outline only" thing.
My $.02 is free.

I have some samples being made by APB (our shirt contact). I have forwarded the designs (chops on back, small mine on left chest). Just have to wait 2-3 weeks before we see the 5 shirts I ordered.

I just did a search but I didn't find anything about what the designs look like. Can someone post some pics. (not of the actual shirt just the logos/designs)

Ed. I've been talking with Giselle. Everything is working out well - we even flirt on the phone.

The original post was titled CLUB T-SHIRTS,$$$ in the IDLE CHATTER forum on August 11th, 2002 orignated by Seadooguy. I wish I could post the url, but I don't know from the Ikon Board.
Seek it out for the Logos that were proposed by Chops, Navy Dave and Taxmaster. I beleive each of them may have some revisions to them by now.
