hey guys,

I don't want to pay $700 for a brullen exhaust, so I was thinking of just going with a universal exhaust with custom cat-back piping, so here is my problem,
What is a good sounding universal exhaust?
What is a good quality exhaust?
I don't want something that is really loud, I want something with a deep tone but not loud until I really punch it.
I was looking into the 5zigen fireball muffler but I don't know how it sounds,

I DO not want something with a massive tip, and I do not want something that resonates inside the car on highway speeds,

So If you guys could help me out I would be greatly appreciative.
thanks

have you ever thought of this: you can still get a cat-back brullen exhaust. good sounding, high quality product and fully customized (yes, even for a cat-back) that won't empty your wallet.

At International Automotive & Custom...In Mississauga..
$240 Installed for a Cat Back Custom System...
Then if you want an Exhaust...You pay the price for the exhaust and they will install that as well for no extra charge...
I got quoted $480 for my exhaust and Cat Back...Plus Taxes ..
My Exhaust [PowerTech]cost $240...ended up not getting Cat Back...cause the guy warnwed me it will be alittle louder than what I was looking for...I have pics in the Gallery Section if you want to see how my exhaust looks like..."More Pics to Come"
I must say, they did a "Perfect" Job...I love the sound of my car now...
Will decide later to get a CatBack...which he will then only charge me $75 cause I got the Exhaust form him and he's cutting me a deal I guess...

Here is their Website Link

Speak to Tony, and let him know Alex Buena with the Protege Sedan sent you...Did business with him at the end of July...He should remember me still...Just spoke with him last week too.

sorry! i meant to say "axle-back" ... meaning a muffler and a short pipe to connect it to existing piping.

Remus muffler sounds really good, it got a really deep sound to it. the tip is not too big, a little bigger than what we got stock with the add on chrome tip.
It's going for around $300 cad in rice mall.
