Kinda a heads up thread about this combo.....
Here you go.
Its a piece of 3/16'' SS flat bar. I drilled 2 holes in them. One I welded a stud to mount to the bar, and the other mounts to the A-arm bolt. I welded the brackets to the car now, and the bracket is removalbe.
Take caution as the bar does sit ALOT lower!!!
I have rubbed it once, but other then that no hitting.

Does it still work the same? I am trying to figure out why you need lower it that much...is the oil pan THAT deep?

The AWR is WAY bigger in all directions then the stocker. If you look in the first pic, the silver metal is the oil pan. It should still work the same as it can't move or flex.

I just realized I will have to tell my dealership about this as they are re-installing everything quite soon. I'll be installing an Autoexe VS a GTspec, but the same issue will occur I'm sure...
Edit: I took a look at your car thread and realized that the pan sits in the very spot where the bar would go through. How did you connect that extension piece to the GTspec bar itself? You said you welded a stud, but I don't quite picture it as I don't see any bolts...

I'll post a better pic with the bar unbolted. Basicly I drilled 2 holes in the flat bar. The bottom hole got a bolt thru it and welded in. This is where the bar bolts to. I ground down the back side to make it a more smoother bump.

Did you drive the car with the tie bar and without the bracket before installing the AWR pan? I ask because I'm curious to hear whether you felt a difference or not.

Didn`t really feel a difference, but also it was after 6 months of not driving the car....

there was a big difference when I first installed mine, so don't listen to what people say about not doing anything... they just suck at driving

I agree that the bar makes a difference, which is why I'm pushing to find a solution for me to use it. I think Kellan meant that he didn't feel a difference in feel from going to stock mounting points to using the bracket...

My car sat in my garage for 6 months before I installed the bar. I also installed BC coilovers, other GT spec stuff, and a BBK.
So from not driving it for 6 months, and then to driving it with all the new goodies, of course it was a HUGE imporvement. I just can't pin point the tie bar.....

Solution; AutoExe bar :)
Kellan, I'd suggest just getting the one Levesque is selling so you can get full use of your bar as I'm not 100% convinced you are getting what the bar is supposed to give you!
