When installing LED underglow like this....

Where will the wire go? More importantly... Will they be ok driving through winter weather in the snow and wet?

the wire just runs along the bottom of the car, It's like a huge circuit, starts from the front, goes all the way around and back to the front.
If the lights are sealed then there shouldn't be a problem. plus leds are alot stronger than cathode tubes, so hitting snow and ice shouldn't pose a problem unless it snags.

IMO, I don't like underglows where you can see the spots of light on the ground. If it's nicely glowing then ya, but that spotlight junk, looks bunk.
IMO tho.

I was planning on wiring it to the dome light... so it only comes on when the doors open or whenever the dome light is on.
But.... still thinking about it :p

I was thinking about doing the same thing for a while.. and putting the lights on the inner skin at the bottom of my doors so that they'd light up when the doors were open... but I just got lazy and decided that it'd be too much work for the effort. Sick idea though =)
