You changed your tail lights right ,You may have missed a gasket . Also check the weatherstrip on the trunk . One other place to check is the gas filler gasket .

I had the same issue, I haven't played with my lights or anything, I put it down to the snow and ice that always falls in to the trunk when I opened it, there are drain plugs there, poke a nice hole in one or pull it entirely for just the summer in the winter the problem isn't there.

Ghetto Concept Performance Trends PartTime Solution is to drill a hole in the trunk and try and park where it will drain out good too.
Do you have a sunroof?
My honda accord had blocked channels that re-routed water to the trunk. Get an aircompressor and blow out the channels of your sunroof while open if you got one.

Seems I'm not the only one with this issue.
I first thought it was melting snow from my snowbrush, since the head rests directly over that area when I put it back in the trunk. Well it hasn't snowed for a while and there's water there, after I soaked it up.
I believe all my seals are intact, so I'm just going to mention it to Avante on my next service, see if they've had any reports on it.

These channels that you mention, how can I tell if they are blocked? I have cleaned up around the sunroof but never witht the aircompressor
Thanks.

A Dodge I had developed a problem with water puddling behind the drivers seat. Had a friend use a hose on the outside of the car while I sat inside and got a face full of water when he was hosing the rear wheel well. Turns out, the steel weld where the body met the wheel well slightly separated and could not be easily seen due to the undercoating but water made its way in. Got it welded under warranty and the car was 5-6 years old at the time.
Could be something similar you are experiencing. Try the hose test (you shouldn't have to lie in the trunk unless you want to!http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif. The trunk is where several pieces of sheet metal come together...may be worth a look see.

Nicholas, have you been in an accident with your car? Seeing as how there's three confirmed cases from this thread it might not be related, but I was rear-ended the end of January. Damage to my car was on the right side however, the water is collecting in the well on the left.
