sooo frankie (junior) just drove up to my place, got out and his alarm armed itself.
he was told that his alarm didnt work anymore so he doesnt have the remote for it. this is the first time it has happened and now the immobilizer has kicked in and he cant start the car...
what do we do? how do we get around it?

I really suggest people PM any kind of response to this, for obvious reasons...

Can't you unlock the door with the key? Shouldn't it disarm the alarm like the stock alarm?

It's a compustar.
and I dont really think it needs to be PM'd.
I was instructed by the installer how to use vallet mode.
Cycle the key 5 times as said from off to ac. It will go into valet mode, then just drive.
Edit: Its not really a security issue as you must have the key.

I'm having similar issues with my Compustar. Apparently the 2-way is toast, re-setting its self and giving me error messages. 1-way isn't working either, not responding and un-arming the car.
Anyone know if I just unlock the car (with the key) and cycle the key from off to acc if the alarm will go into valet mode if the alarm is armed. I know as soon as I unlock the car the alarm will go off.
If that doesn't work I'm assuming that I can pop the hood, turn off the battery back up and disconnect the battery to turn off the alarm.
Anyone know for sure? This is my second 2-way to go bad in less than 2 years.

Mine is working fine once again. It was actually an issue with the batteries that I was using. The 1-way remote wasn't working because its not properly programmed to my car.
I've had my Compustar for 2 years and really have not had many issues. The issues that I have had are small.
