Rookie Meet 2008 - Official June 2008 Event

It's that time of the year again! 6 years and running strong. I am proud to announce, June 21st 2008, 6th Annual Rookie Meet.

The traditional rookie meet is a great time for new members that are a bit shy and not comfortable yet, to make an appearance and mingle with other new members, as well as long standing members and the officers.

The rookie meet consists of a meet in greet in the northwest parking lot of the Yorkdale Shopping Centre (located at Highway 401 & Dufferin). Once everyone has had a chance to meet the new guys, we move over to Shoeless Joe's (1 Block south of Yorkdale on Dufferin at Orfus Rd.) for dinner and more conversation. Dinner is at about 8pm.

This is a great way to meet everyone and get to know your fellow TOprotege chums. We will have TOprotege stickers on hand for distribution, membership cards and calendars, for those that wish to make a donation.

This event is open to any and all members of TOprotege and we encourage your participation to help make the rookies feel more welcome and let them know that our club is not just about the forum. Once you meet our members, you'll learn that we truly are a friendly bunch.

If you plan on attending the meet, please post up that you'll be coming so that I can make the reservation at Shoeless Joe's, accordingly. Feel free to bring guests or significant others (please include them when you sign up)

NOTE: The razing of new members is completely frowned upon and will NOT be tolerated. Any type of defacing of members vehicles will not be taken lightly, and if anyone is caught in this act, you will be removed from future events. This is meant to be a fun and welcoming day, let's try to act like adults and have fun!

Uh, if anyone sees a chromie hubcap on the 401 going West to London, that's mine. :D I came home and found my drivers front was gone, lol. Now I really need those GT wheels. I used these chrome hubs for almost four years. I'm surprised it didn't cause an accident and that no one honked.
