Some of you know me and some dont. The ones that really know me know that i havent driven this thing for almost two years. I first took it off to fix it and get it back to a better shape. well time went on and i got lazy or well not so motivated really. But for the last little while i have been working my ass off to get it ready so i can atleast drive it for a little bit this year.

are cars have rust and some more than others. my was worse than i had though, but its slowly getting better. heres a little of what i've been up too.

The next step which i didnt take many pics cause it was soo much work was, to sandblast everythign left and apply Por15 to everything. After that the inner wheel wells were completely sealed with gravel guard.

On the subject of rust, what is the highest mileage that anyone has tried to get Mazda to pay for rust fix? I've heard as high as 161,000 km and Mazda might still cover rust repair under warranty...

^ Jesus. They wouldn't even cover mine at 120k and I was technically under warranty when it happened. I went to 5-6 different dealers and all had the same excuse. All I can say is Good Luck!!!

i went a while back cause of the rust on the bottom of my doors (driver only) and they wouldnt do anything. i wish that our cars didnt rust as bad, its horrible/

Whoah, it's NOT the dealers' fault. Dealerships LOVE warranty work, but Mazda HQ is anal about honouring paint/rust warranty and make us take like 5 pictures before/after, body shop invoices etc. So it was most likely Mazda HQ saying no.
