Niagara Falls Cruise?

i'm shawn from Niagara Falls, there is a few guys down here that are trying to start a mazda club, itz only small now, and still workin on some details but just wondering if you guys are planing a Niagara Falls Cruise this summer sometime?

We could meet up or even take you guys/girls around if you are interested...anyways.

What part of town are you from?? I'm a northender, near Canadian Tire, but formerly a Chippawa hoodlum. Oh yeah I'm down with OPP for this as well.

I'm Game, Glad to hear that we could possibly get some cruz's goin on down here. But the thing is being that the falls isnt that big we should get a General Mazda meet going and let her go from there. I am sure St.Kitts Mazda would be happy to sponsor us in some way if things get that large, Getting a site goin would be great. That may draw a little more attention. Is there a lot of funds that you have to dump into getting a site going? Or do you think we could set up a sister site or Falls page to TOprotege?

MP3 in Niagara FAlls, for 2 years in August, i live by fireman's park, that end.

i am glad to see yo guys are interested, i'll get some info together shortly hopefully. then we can plan a date and get some of this idea going.

I was thinkin of a loop and this is what I came up with. Startin out at the back parkin lot at the Pen Center (by Zellers) <u>St.Catharines</u> meet there cuz there is tons of room to meet up during the day plus people can see the lot from the 406hwy and come check things out if they wish. Then from there cruz down Glendale to Niagara Service Road(along the Welland Canal) and meet at lock 3 (gravel parking lot but good place to take some pics) then to <u>Niagara on the Lake</u> and meet up at the IGA(i think thats the Grocery store there) then cruz down the nice long curvey Niagara prk.way along the Niagara river,(to Niagara Falls) right onto Clifton Hill and left on Lundys lane to the Nike Outlet.

Let me know what you all think,and a date.

All peoples welcome....assistance from TOprotege would be appreciated in getting a Niagara club going.
If this flys I will draw a map up for the loop and how to get to the starting points and how to get home from the finish points for you out of towners.

That sounds like a good loop, the only problem is the pen center secruity, they don't lie cars sitting and groups gathering around in the parking lot, but i'm sure we can get around this problem. Secruity guard bribs can't be that exsensive, a coffee or two....

That route you picked out looks pretty good, nice cruise. the parkway isa nice drive.
i am working on a map for everyone to see the route and see if u guys/girls are interested...

This is what i had planned for a day:

11:00am meet at "pen center" (we will sya for now)
12:00(noon). head out for a cruize...
--down Glendale to Niagara Service Road
--lock 3 (place to take some pics)
--Niagara on the Lake and meet up at the IGA
--cruz down the nice long curvey Niagara prk.way along the Niagara river to Niagara Falls
--right onto Clifton Hill
--left on Lundys lane to the Nike Outlet.

1-2pm depending on speed and stops and stuff.

*Chat it up
*eat food. couple of good places.
---Ps. i work at fine kettle o fish, if interested i could probably set someting up..13-15 /person. meal/pop/grat/parking lot/place to talk/ has a bar if needed.
(probably 3 option meals (fish,pasta, or meat)

anyways, i am not sure on a date as of yet, a sunday could bea good nite, because we have "cruise nite" in the falls, sunday nite so if u wanted to we could hit that up that nite, alot of nice cars, and prehaps take a little trip on the twisties if u wanted to..

anyways people shout out days that are good for you and we can wrok from there also about possibly idea on what to do or in u wanna have the fish...

About the only days that I think that I will be able to attend until July would be May 25,May 31st or June 1st. So lets hook something up for one of those days. All Mazdas are welcome to come We will not restric this meet to Protoges with hopes of getting a good turn out. If you are in please let MP3 Boy or Myself know. Feel free to bring your significant others. If you have FRS Radios please bring them as they help with people getting caught between lights.

i am usually out at around 9:30-10, at no frills or electronic Depot, just look for the blue MP3, not many of those around, so it is probably me.

I'd be in for a cruise, but can't make it on a Sunday night because I head back to Etobicoke on Sunday afternoons. A Saturday would be better for me. I had a route planned out from last year, meet at Queenston heights park, head down Four Mile Creek Road, to Lakeshore, there's a park right on the lake maybe take a few pics, then head down the parkway to the Palmwood in Crystal Beach for a couple pitchers. A lake to lake kinda thing. Taking a detour to drive down the road to the NPC School of Horticulture, that road is practically a slalom course, and the road that goes to Legends on the Niagara golf course.
