anyone know how to get out stripped allan screws from a shift knob?????? I am contemplating just cutting the damn thing off with a saw cuz it slips left and right. word of advise dont buy a crappy shifter knob cuz the momo one you wanna get is $110 and all you gotz is $50!!!!

drill out the srew or go to crappy tire and get the bit for removing striped screws, good luck

I think that Momo knobs use the same method of attachment .... so the $110 may not solve your problem http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

I've got a MoMo knock-off and find that I'm tightening it every week! Getting it out is as simple as drilling it out. Next one you get use blue Locktite on the Allen screw threads. It'll lock it down but still give you a way to get it tighter or off.

Try the Razo knobs (slightly less than Momo). I've had mine for 4 years and no probs. And that's after two shifters, stock and B&M short shifter...
