Thanks Wes!
Drain the collant in the coolant reservoir
Remove the Radiatior cap and loosen the radiator drain plug
Drain the coolant into a container
Flush the cooling system with water untill all traces of color are gone
Let the system drain completly
tightnet the radiator drain plug
Pour coolany into the reservoir up to the full mark on coolant reservoir.
fully install radiator cap
start the engine and let idle for approx 10 mins.
after engine warms up, perform the following steps:
-Run the engine @ 2,500 rpm for 5 mins
-Run the engine @ 3,00 rpm for 5s, Then return to idiling. repeat several times
Stop the Enigne and wait untill it is cool.
Inspect the coolant level. If it is low, Repeat step 7-12
Verify there is no leakage.
Caution!
Engine Coolant will damage paint. Rinse it off quickly
Use soft water in the coolant mixture. Water that contains mineral will cut down on the coolant's effectiveness.
The engine has aluminum parts that can be damaged by alcohol or methanol in the cooling system. Us eonly ethylene-Glycol based coolant.
Hope this helps some one out!
