I'm a new member by the way, hope to meet some of you @ one of the meets sometime in the future.
Got a question for you guys and girls.
Has anybody actually tried both the CAI and the short ram on thier car?
I'd like to pick up the Injen, or AEM CAI.
Is it worth dropping $500 on the CAI or should I just pick up the short ram?
Would there be much of a difference in performance?

Hi there and welcome!
Please use the SEARCH feature next time, or look through the different threads in this forum. In here, you'll find a whole bunch of threads talking about intakes. If you can't find them, at the bottom of the page, there's a pull down menu that says "the last 30 days". change that to "the beginning" and press GO.
Hopefully you'll find your answers there.

I have some time to explain:
Now i don't have an intake but have driven a few cars in this club.......one with Ingen CAI and one with Short ram
It all depends on what your going for, if it's braging rights, prue preformance, and top grade parts, go with the Ingen.
If you going for a daily driver, nice sound, not really into names go for the Ractive short ram.
They both have a different sound, but supply pretty much the same hp gain.
Hope that helps

midnightp5...it all comes down to personal preference I guess.
The difference in hp between the INjen, AEM and Ractive is probably minimal.
