Anyone install one of these on their 02 ES? Any opinions on strut bars in general? Wheres a good place to buy em? I called performance improvements and they can get it for about $70 bucks, but they have to order it in.

Does anyone know of upper strut tower braces for the rear of the P5.?

Does one exist at all?

Auto Exe makes one but it costs $$. Roughly $250 US

That sound like a pretty good price to me.

I wouldn't know if you would feel much of a difference on the Protege ES (I would assume you would, but I've never driven my P5 Without one, comes stock)

I did put one on my 94 Talon TSI AWD Turbo, it did noticably improve handling.

I say buy it; it's only 70 bucks.

Worst case is that it just makes it look nicer under the hood.

I've talked to some ppl at DKN about this topic and I was told that you won't notice much, if any, difference with the Ractive strut bar. But I would have bought it anyways. It looks better and stronger.
