Went to install my summer tires back on my newly powdercoated rims and I saw a particular brand that looked aggressive in tread, good traction, wear rates, construction and competitive price???. I'm not here to sell a brand, but to enlighten with knowledge. I noted the Bridgestone & Sumitomo Tire Co. technologies

These are just some of the tire model numbers I may have taken note of that were on the display. I didn't get the price quotes for any of the various Protege sizes, but it may serve well in my mind when upgrading my OEM Dunlops in the future.
Once again.., just because TireRack.com doesn't advertise them or you may not see their shiney adds in SCC doesn't mean they are not a good alternative when shopping. http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

Azenis have to be the best bang for the buck tire out there, at least to those with only performance in mind http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif After my current ones wear out, I will definately get another set http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

The only Azenis that come close to fitting the 3rd gen Protege are 215/45/16 and the 205/50/15 size for competition.
