Im trying to find a good place to put some fogs on me pro.  Unlike some of the other models that have nice factory fog positions, my pro doesn't have a good spot.  So I am thinking the only place to put them is in front of the bumper grill?  I dont wanna cut out the bumper to make a hole for them.  Any other ideas would be great.

p.s. I really need fogs for highway driving (at night of course) so i'd rather have them serve a practical purpose, and if they look good at the same time...well its all good then http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

how about on the top of your bumper and make it look like a rally car.......hehehehe........or you could put it on your roof of the car and make it look like a jeep........ http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif ........hahahahaha.....

seriously though, you can probably put them by the bumper near the middle where the grill is.......that should fit there.......

yeah, take a look at your bottom grill (in your bumper). There should be 4 (i think) vertical bars and one horizontal. Cut the horizontal from the edge to the first vertical piece. Mount them right there. Thats were most 2gens have them. If you mount them far enuff back into the bumper, you can cover the whole grill opening in mesh with the fogs in behind it!

hmmm im not really up to cutting the bumper...lol I might later on tho...but for now I think I will mount them rally style, on either side of the mazda emblem. That should look cool I think.

p.s. Is there a legal max height limit or anything?

It depends what brand you want. Do you have an interest on a particular kind?

Unless you've got some damn small fog lights you're probably going to haveto cut a small part of your bumper.
Mine are rather close together, just on either side of the license plate. I had to cut out 2 small pieces of the horizontal plastic thing to get mine to fit, but then again, my fogs are rather large.

good point, but im planning on mounting the fogs on some pre-drilled sheet metal (about 1 inch wide) Which i can bend and pass through the bumber (through the openning of the grill). So this way i can actually bolt the whole mounting assembly to some spot on the chasis.

I think 100Watts is bright enough tho?
