Ok folks, We still do not have a location in Kingston for the meet but I'm sure we will have one very soon. I will try to pass through to look for a spot on my way back from Montreal in May.

List is shaping up nicely. Hope when we get there we have some stuff planned.

We should storm up some ideas for contests (with dollar store prizes) - such as best car, ice, graphics, etc. and some contests like milk chugging, and pizza eating. Some games will require and entrance fee - to pay for the milk, pizza and dollar store prizes.

I'll make a formal listing and the officers can feel free to add to it. I think we should have about 1.5 hours of gaming so that it works as an ice breaker between the two clubs. I'll post the list in the officers lounge then assign certain officers to certain tasks.

Seriously though, this is the first time this many mazdas have been in Kingston, a local dealer would love the free press with all the kids seeing our cars and then a mazda dealer next door, they can't lose. Where ever it is make sure it is near princess and division so we can walk around if we chose.

That goes for me too. Some much is said about this Kington Trip but no tentative plans are made. It is just too far to go and we do nothing but just drive to a parking lot. Only 2 weeks away and no concret plans have been made.

Like Mark said the plans for parking and meeting spot are being finalized.  As for hotels use canada411.ca or yellowpages.ca to find a hotel room. I have no clue what there is to do in Kingston but I know its about half way for both groups. The dealer in Kingston is unable to help us out so were are looking at a city owned parking lot that will be $7 a car.

Kingston is a fun town, i had many friends go to school there. I also spent many March breaks there when I lived in Ottawa.

There is ALOT of history and classic buildings. (old fort and base of operations for the british before confederation)We will be accross the road from the fort ( great shots) there is also the 1000 island cruise, and many other things that happen in the summer. The night life is amazing, many students don't go home for the summer and the bars are always fun, I will call my friends there and find out what the best ones are.

At the bottom of the map near city hall is a tourist info center. The guy from the city told me that we can find out about anything in a 100km radius of Kingston there. They will also be up to date about current events.

If anyone would like the city park has BBQ pits for public use. As far as resturants, we will be a 5min walk from the center of town, BUT, take my advice and stop at the &quot;hoagie house&quot; on division for the best sandwiches ever!! I will be going so follow me.

Sorry for the long post but I have been to Kingston many time ( hell my Olds broke down in Kingston on Christmas Eve.) Thought I would share some experiences!

I am going with or without some of the loyal members. The lot has been booked, it is #12 I will be at the usual westside premeet at 9 am.

We should all try and meet at a central spot to roll in together. I was thinking the 1st 401 rest stop (timmies) at approx. 11:30, any other ideas would be appreciated. This is a good spot, not out of the way and far enough east that all memers are headed east for the meet. All rookies should also mee there so we can introduce ourselves.

PS. Too bad moe, I have been talking with my friends in kingston and got all the low down on whats hot and not.

there is always the first rest stop just past hwy 115 on the 401 that will take about 1 hour or so to get to from mississauga.
