Hey guys,

I just got my autoexe rep from dgm, I was wondering, it comes in a glossy black colour, so I put it on and it looks pretty cool in black with a silver car, now I was thinking of getting the wings west side skirts and painting them black and eventually getting a bumper and painting the bottom of it black so that the whole bottom of the car is black in colour

What do you guys think, keep it black or paint it the body colour?
here is a picture

i saw body colour, makes everything look more organized and not just a sloppy job... black... not everyone on the streets can appreiate it, but body colour, everyone will like it!

definately paint it the same as the body colour. there's nothing worse than guys in honda's who get bodykits and dont paint them !!! if you get mad vinyl body graphics that would blend in with the colour of the kit than I think that might work.

I find that a black front lip makes the car look higher than it actually is. I'd also paint it to match the body.

same here... i'd paint the lip silver to match the body colour.

however, if you are planning to go with a carbon fibre hood, dark tints, and gunmetal/black rims.... then paint the top portion of the lip silver and leave the bottom black. but i agree with dave, it makes the car look higher than it is, so you better lower your ride too.

I guess you would have to see it in person, it looks like it was painted black, it is really glossy, I'm going to wait a bit and get side skirts and then decide what I want to do. Thanks for the input

all the people who have seen it where I live like it in black, they ask me why not keep it black as long as I get side skirts and a bumper.

I say don't paint it!

If you can pull off different color
body panels then more power to you!

It's easy to match the colour to your
orignal paint......it's another thing if you can
think out side the box with different coloured
Body parts

Sliver with a black bottom would looks SICK
all you need is a black spolier and black light housings!!

As long as the shade and gloss on the side skirts will match the lip then I say leave it black. If they aren't uniform then it's going to look like patchwork...

plz don't take this offensive...
but if i c another car w/ black side skirt...
i really mean black......i would think tat
the driver is in a really low in budget (cheap)....but
wanna show off his new toy at the same time....
eventho it is glossy, no one gives a damn...(unless it's carbon fibre)
and dave was rite, black lips actually makes
the car look a bit higher....newayz...
sorry if tat was offensive...but for me,
i rather have it w/ the body colour...
more organize that way.

Dude ya gotta paint it! It looks unfinished in black like you had the money for the skirt but not enough for the paint. Just my opinion(and probably most peoples)
