GCPT /TPC Joint Venture?

I don't have access to certain kinds of machinery but I know our board is resourceful in its membership population. I am serious about this Ghetto Concept Performance Trend Idea.

Like I said before, there are 4million ideas in the Ghetto we just don't have the technical know how and resources to implement them.

Back in the day engine motor mounts were replaced with hockey pucks which were just as durable and more cost efficient. It is just a matter of tracing out a copy design and drilling the necessary holes.

Positive input and feedback required if you are down like James Brown and have access to tools, machinery would be appreciated. Does this idea fly at all?

as Jason said, don't make your own, simply fill your current mounts. here's a really good site that will help you out. seems alot of memebers on the probetalk.com board have benefited from this process (do a search - &quot;motor mounts&quot; - and you'll see)

The curing of the window weld caulking is a wee bit time consuming when hockey pucks can just be shoved in. Isn't this the plug 'n' play generation? I think the material make-up of the hockey puck would be more durable than the window weld caulking over time..., wouldn't it? Look at the temperature range of a hockey puck vs. window weld caulking?
