any good universal mufflers?

hey guys, I'm looking into buying a universal muffler and getting a muffler shop to make cat-back piping, I was just wondering what brands are good quality and sound good, a deep tone not a bumple bee tone, I was looking into a 5zigen fireball but there has to be more than that out there,

I just saw the ractive fireball lookalike and I really like the look but what about sound, tip Diam, and performance gains, also is there a bigger performance increase with a catback over a axleback or are they pretty much the same?

I have been also looking for a universal muffler. I am really thinking of getting the Apexi N1 muffler. I hear it has a nice deep tone! Don't take my word for it..YET. When I get it I'll let you know, that is if you don't already have yours.

i love the sound! i was really surprised to get the sound i have now out of a reactive....

and as for the performance? personally i think it decreased =( but maybe cuz it sounds louder... and u can hear the sound getting louder and louder and you're still dragging along the road as to b4 when u dont hear the sound and drag along. and a muffler MAX max increase would be like 4hp? not sure

It's a Powertech exhaust...Just got it on Friday and when the guy started my car, I was too was worried on how it would sound like...But I was not disappointed at all...Sounds deep and looks good on my car.

Rective has a Carbon Fiber bolt on Cat back......Jason( YP5 toronto) has it on his car. He thinks it's loud. I think it sounds pretty wicked......that one is an option too!

I had my MT-602 fireball ...for quite a long time...
i got it when i reached over 1500km...
the first week i got it, it was really loud...
maybe becuz i am not used to it..
however, now i am satisfy w/ it...
since it makes a pretty nice deep bass...
i compared mine w/ my friends' WRX Apexi N1...
mine was actually louder than his....since the
drum in the N1 is slightly larger....
remember...larger means not as louder...
small drums makes louder noise...(CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG)
mine is a 5" muff, w/ a 4.5"...if u wanna pic of it..

hey buddy! just got my new muffler. no mid-pipe yet...i got the tenzo r bomber style. sounds deep, not exactly what i wanted but not too bad. it's big though! after all that talk about n1's i ended up getting the tenzo r. somebody kept outbidding me on ebay...was that you http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif well the tenzo nice!!!. i'll try and post some pics soon.
