Low Rev Improvement??

I have know out my resinato and replace with K/N filter with a pipe lead from ground to filter, I notice that is noiser and gather power at high rev. I haven't mod my exhaust, which i am going to and looking for one. But i found out that when i start at lite and lost a lot of acceleration. especially in 1000 - 3000. is there anything that i can improve it, other that put in nixtro stuff, hahah..
