Similar to Darren, it was with mixed emotions that I submit my resignation as Vice-President. I've enjoyed some great years in this club, and I'm glad I was able to give back to the club in the roll of VP, and assist in moving this club forward with the introduction of the vbulletin powered forums.

I'm sure many of noticed, but I'm just not on the board as much as I used to be. Things have gotten very busy with me for work, to the point that I'm only in the country 1-2 days a week. I still own my Protege's, with no plan to sell them... in fact I recently picked up a P5 as a daily driver/winter beater. I will still be racing the P5 next year in the Canadian Touring Car Championship, hopefully with enough backing to make a run for the top.

Once work settles down I hope to be back on the board like in days past. I just wanted to step down from the VP role to allow someone with new energy and more time to give to the role to step up and I think Christian is perfect for this role. I also know that Frankie will do great as President. I will continue to support the officers with Forum Administration.

Congratulations to Frankie and Christian on there new roles!

w3rd. Thanks for all of the help Brian. Not only with the forum administration, but also with daily happenings as VP. It's sad to see you step down, but obviously I can totally relate. I look forward to seeing Junior and Christian's enthusiasm spread through the club.

Wow...MORE Changes in the club. It'll be interesting to see where Toprotege goes in the future with all new management. Sorry to hear you're stepping down, but I do hope you'll stick around and keep us updated on your progress in the Canadian Touring Car Championship next year!

Sucks to hear that work is pulling you away Brian, but i'm sure you're doing it for the best. Thanks for everything you've done as VP.

on a side note, how does this affect MOSI as a vendor?

Brian,

As per our previous discussions, I am saddened to hear that you can longer dedicate time to your role as VP and understand why you have made this decision.
I wish you still remain active and stay on the forums as much as you can, and you're opinions and ideas will always be welcome, as you've done some great things to get the club where it is today.

I would like to announce that Brian will be named the official Toprotege Forum Administrator, as he will still need to maintain the behind-the-scenes stuff moving forward.

As for the second role of VP, the officers have dedided that we will return to the traditional form of the executive team here at TOProtege, where we have one vice-president (already named Christian).

Again, we always appreciate your input and look forward to your more active days in the future.

Cheers,

Jr

Thank you Brian. I don't know what else to say that hasn't been said already. As Junior said, all your hard work is a big part of what makes the club what it is today.

...MOSI FTW!

Thanks for all your hard work Brian. Even in my short time here at the site I can see all the hard work you've put in looking through all the past threads. Great job and you will be missed!

I'm just hoping MOSI will remain an active vendor of the site as well.

Thanks everyone for the kind replies. It is my intention to stick around and be an active participant in the club, but my presence will definitely be scaled back the next couple of months.

MOSI is still alive and kicking, thankfully it is a three man operation, so even while I'm tremendously busy with my full time job, Mike and Dave will be around to keep things going.

Please forgive us if we're a little slow to reply to your messages, but rest assured we will reply. I know I have a few PM's I still need to reply to, and will have all replies sent out soon.

Thanks again for all the well wishes!

Thanks for everything Brian... Everyone in the club has something to learn from you...and probably has already.

Hopefully your being busy for a while will allow you to put some money aside to really kick ass next season... Cheers!

Sucks to hear thekid stepping down, many members don't know that thekid did a lot of the work behind this forum and its conversion from the old ikonboard to the new vbulletin. Even now, thekid helps a lot with the main work behind the scene like the member status and upgrades to the forum. So pro.!
