View Full Version : HOW -TO reapply floormat labels that fell off

I know after washing my mats a few times, the "Protege" label has come off. To reapply it, all you need is a can of 3M super77 spray adhesive. You can buy this at Canadian Tire. Use as per the directions on the can, and you're set! (It's a pretty short how-to, but meh!)

mine fell off to, well actually the passengers side did, it doesnt look like its stitched..i used some carpet glue and its all good now

Maybe it's an LX thing.......????? Fcuk.... lol. I assumed they were all the same. Maybe I'll go stitch mine. heh.

Mine were stitched on as well (ES-GT). Unfortunately my floor mats were stolen.

Nah... I went to the wreckers for some replacement front mats... and those were glued on too!

how do your floor mats get stolen????

When my car was at the body shop. Not sure why the were stolen, the drivers side was worn down to the rubber in certain spots. The passenger side was in ok condition though.

Funny part is they stole my mangled mats but didnt touch my h/u, sub, amp, cds, dvds.

I even asked the detailing guy and there were no mats in there when he detailed my car before i picked it up.

I saw these glued on type mats at the familia picnic. they say "PROTEGE" on them.

My stock mats were stitched and say "MAZDA" on them

I have some sweet OEM floormats with stitched "MAZDA" on them that I'm not using... :)

but really they're cheap from the dealership surprisingly.

www.onlinemazdaparts.com it's like $60USD for the Mazdaspeed Protege floor mats (the good ones with the reinforced rubber section where the pedals are :) )
