Ignoring threads

I know there is a method to ignore users, and a method to subscribe to threads, but is there a way to ignore threads? There are a few that are just chatter to me, and I'd rather they not keep popping up when I do my two fav searches; "Active Topics - Since Last Visited" and "Active Topics - Last Hour".

I can live with it, but I was just wondering...

Its even easier to do, because you don't need to change the character of Sylvester, just change the name to Scott.
