Noticed about 4 or 5 stone chips in my windshield the other day. Damn gravel trucks on the highway! http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/baaa.gif

Anyway, I know I better get them fixed early, so does anyone have any recommendations, or even bad stories they can share?

I've heard it's about $40 PER spot. Does that seem right? If you've got multiple chips on the same windshield, is it still $40per???

who quoted u $40 per spot?...was it a buddy or urs or a shop?

I haven't actually gotten any official quotes yet. That was just kind of the price that some people that I had spoken to were throwing around.

Why do you ask? Do you think it's gonna' be more than that?

DO NOT go to apple auto glass (the one close to scarboro mazda)!!!!!

I had one "fixed" there and it cracked the whole windshield worse!

Most places are $40-50 per chip I believe.

i was just curious. well besides apple auto glass i don't really know any other shop for windshields. but i've never gone there yet so i don't know what its like. http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/blush.gif
