Yohohama AVS ES100 if you have a modest budget...heard many good things about them.
If money is not a concern then Yokohama Parada Spec2 or Bridgestone S-03.

I read some owner reviews of the Kumho712 on tirerack.com. They weren't overly positive. The common complaints were that these tire are noisy, and that they "go out of round" or have to be rebalanced too frequently. I also read owner reviews of the Yokohama AVS ES100 and they were all generaly positive comments.

Yeah Dunlop SP9000 are very nice (stock on MP3).
Not sure of the price range though.
The Continental ContiSportContact2 is probably very good.
Michelin = $$$$
Pirelli = $$$
Bridgestone S03 is probably quite good also.
Oh, and Toyo T1-S http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Oh, don't forget also to check some of the Hankook Ventus models.
They should be relatively cheaper than the Euro or Japanese tires.
But I would somewhat stay away from most Kumho, Falken, Sumimoto, etc tires. Not quite as big companies or proven record on the street. I've seen pics of guys in the US hitting potholes with their tires and the belt would separate causing bubbles. Not good! My Continentals are only 40-series and have taken a few major hits recently but seem to be holding up great.

Thanks...
