Question about meets

Alright folks,

I hear a lot of "westside exclusive" and "this side exlcusive" etc. but I have a question about club-wide meets.

When is the next club meet? As in the WHOLE club and not segregated based upon the side you live on. As far as I can tell I have no real side since I'm not even in the GTA area.

So when and where please....

I know that you have looked in the social gatherings forum, right. This is where this is posted. I see the first topic says, Amys going away party March 20, there are 22 people signed up to go. there are also a lot of large meets being planned for the better weather. As for the exclusive events thats justa Westside thing.

Yeah. the Social Gatherings is a free-for-all if anyone wants to go hang out. Although with it being Winter .. and there being a lot of new people on the board, there haven't been many spur of the moment things.

Only WESTSIDE conducts exclusive clan meets.

However, there are two meets coming up that will be good for you to come out to.

Amy's Going Away party March 20.
and MOM (Meeting of Mazdas) April 5.

There is the Minden Event, the Quebec Protege Club meet, the SPEED World Challenge GT and Touring Car race and a few others already planne for the upcomming months

Even though you're not in the GTA area, you're still to be from one side. Where are you located?

As for the events... I will probably come to Amy's going away party since that seems to be the most official club only type event slated for the next little while and if I am to go on the MOM I would at least to like roll with people I know.

Are plans in the works to expand the meeting schedule once the club gets a little larger? ie: more regular meets which aren't restricted to &quot;clan or location&quot;.

First of all Burlington is WESTSIDE... We've got kids from Woodstock, Oakville, Niagara, and Hamilton.

You've barely been with this club for 2 weeks and already you've concluded that we don't have enough club meets? Give yourself some time to settle in - we've seen lots of rookies on our boards who got hyped for meets after 1 week. When you do show up to a meet there is absolutely no need to know anyone in advance. This is a welcoming group of guys (for the most part this does not include me) so just show up when you want - don't worry about who you know or what we'll think cause afterall wtf do you care.

Part 1: I haven't concluded anything... I am merely seeking information. Don't put words in my mouth please.

Part 2: I am far from a rookie. Having been in the car scene for about 8 years now from Camaros, Jeeps, Civics and now Proteges. As I said, I merely seek solid and correct information on meets. However, you are correct if you meant I am a &quot;rookie&quot; to this club.

Part 3: This part was edited due to the fact that I could be wrong in my assumption that you are an arrogant prick and until I've proven otherwise I'll just keep that to myself.

Part 4: I'm glad you think Myside sucks and just for stating your opinions I'll hold up my first three fingers with a request that you read between the lines.

I'm the kind that doesn't like people putting words in my mouth. If I want to say something, I have no qualms about saying it, good or bad. Time in the CAF will do that to you. Why sugar coat when you want to cut straight to the heart of the matter.

As for the red in my face LOL... Couldn't be farther from the truth. I deal with people like MP5Navy on a daily basis for work, so for me its an extension of everyday life.

As for the &quot;exclusive meet&quot; and &quot;special invitations&quot; I expect no such thing. I just asked a few questions and was (in my estimation) called out by Navy since he obviously misinterpreted my reasons for asking the questions I did.

Well, I am not the type to back down, never have been.
