Hey guys,

me again. I've found somebody selling some used 17" ADR 6 spoke rims. He doesn't know the model # or offset, but he had them on an Eagle Talon. I've been trying to search the web to see if I could find the exact rims (which I can't seem to find based on the pic he sent me).

Does anyone know the offset requirements for an Eagle Talon? I looked here Wheel Guide (http://www.streetracing.org/shop/wheelguide.html) and looks like the bolt patern would be fine, but can't find anything on offset. http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/withstupid.gif

Thanks

I suggest you try to find the exact rim offset rather than finding the eagle talon offset because finding the car's right offset number only gives you the suggested offset. The rim offset can still be higher or lower.

chk out ADRWHEELS.com for recent wheels

as for eagle talon, its the same as a mitsu eclipse. 5x4.5 high offset. depends on width of rims.

The offset should be stamped on the wheel.
Tell the guy to have a look and write it down.

Only problem is that they have rubbers on them, otherwise I would have had him check.

I don't understand how these people plan on selling their rims when they know nothing about them. This is about the 4th person I've talked to that doesn't know what model number they are, or any of the sizes.

It's on the back of the spokes. Or inside of the rim. Whether the tire is on or not doesn't matter.

Thanks guys. I've asked him to check the back.

I notice our OEM rims say 16 x 6. I thought they were 16 x 7. Anyway, hopefully his will have a high enough offset.
