Anyone know where I can buy one of the little rubber terminal protector thingamajigs for the car battery? I need to cover one of mine as the covers seems to have been va-poo-rized. If anyone knows where I can buy that rubber thing, or teeeef one, that would be great. No glove, no love.

P.S. - I'm kidding about the teeefing 'ting.

by the way...I'm actually being serious here. I actually do need one, so any suggestions would be appreciated.

Sidds yo. I think they were $20/each (I got one for - & + terminals). I'll take pics if really needed when I swap batteries lol.

how do you take the terminals out of the battery to replace them? Sorry for the nOob questions, but I really didn't know they were replaceable.

EDIt - oh wait...are you talking about these?

I thought you were talking about replacing the actual terminal posts that are attached to the battery. That's why I was so confused :p LOL

yeah, mine is all stock yo. I guess when I had my system installed, they didn't feel it was necessary to do any of them. But I will likely do all of them together just to complete the look (instead of just one).

One, its probably a good idea for the performance aspect, and two they look pretty cool, especially of you get the ones that cover the entire terminal.

They even have some with digital readouts!

yeah, I saw the readout ones. Kinda' overkill if you ask me....but I supposed if you have a crazy system and want to be able to keep track of all aspects, it could be useful.

Let me know how things go with the ebay seller you bought from. Although it would probably be cheaper to just buy from one of our club sponsors and not have to pay for shipping, etc.

It worked out to $18CDN shipped for the Monster one.

I would say most of the ones I see start at $19.99.

Darren, give Sidd a call. The ones I have are platinum (Stinger brand) and were only $20.

w3rd. Pretty sure my battery is ambi-dextrous though. It's also a hermapherdite.

^ That's cool if your yellow shirt is. But it'll be even better if your battery is too.

ima big fan of the giant ball of tin foil... give it that ultra chrome look and feel to the cover.... and at shows you can pop the hood, and connect both "chrome" covers together with a wire and put on a light show to impress the ladies, that will for sure win you some points!
