February 23, 2007 - Official February Dave & Buster Meet

With a blink of an eye, we're already into the second official TOprotege meet of 2007. Keeping with tradition, this feb meet was setup at Dave & Busters at Jane and Hwy 7.

Many members arrived early to have dinner while others came in at the assigned time. Over 25 members showed up for this event, many members who didn't sign up for the sign up list showed up for dinner and others dropped by just to say hi. After dinner, the group scattered to the gaming area where members hung around until midnight. Some members were seen crashing their race cars into other members in linked racing games, others preferred single player games such as flight simulators or sniper hunting games. All in all, this was a great event! Thanks to all the members for coming out!

this was my first Toprotege D&B meet...had a really good time and as always, good to see new and old faces...

BTW....That racing Game is totally FIXED...I was soooo much in the lead making NOOOOO mistakes...and for some reasons, the others must of suddenly had warped speed to finally catch up to the Most obvious Better Racer[Me]....

Highlight of the night...
Playing that Tower Game for Many many tickets...
I got 986 Tickets....so I spent it on toys for my cousins kids...and a cup for me!

Good times guys. For the record....eventhough I was in 4th of 4 in the racing game in the pictures, I did catch up. And YES....I WAS DRIVING AUTO! :p

But I still smoked most of the guys that were driving stick.

Sorry we took off so early. With the weather driving back up to Aurora, we didn't want to leave the dog alone too long. We try not to leave her for more than 4 hours right now. Once she gets older, she'll be okay for longer periods of time.

meh...not too bad I guess. The drive there was actually worse than the drive home. Just had to drive a little slower is all. Took Aurora Road to the 400 on the way there, and took King Sideroad on the way home. There were parts where it was farm and the snow was just blowing like crazy all over the place. Almost white-out-ish, but not quite that bad. Took me about 45 minutes each way. Normally I can do that drive in about 20 - 25 minutes. Realistically it should take about 35 minutes doing the speed limit the entire way.

The E-W roads back to my place were horrendous in the open areas, when I was going North it was fine, but going along Durham Road 5 the whiteout conditions were the worst I've ever experienced. That wind last night was NUTS!

Thanks guys, as always for repping it large and showing up to enjoy some time with other members of your club.

I gotta say I had a great time and it was definitely a blast hanging with the regulars and also chilling with some new guys, except for Ragdoll (that's never going to get old) - It was good time seeing flava flav aka Moses bring out the saw and choppin' some trees down.

Good to see Rich again, it's been a while, but it's always good to see an original OG. Ed, sigh ... you are truly a funny guy. True pimp.

Nice to meet the ones I didn't know before last night and we will see more of you guys in the upcoming spring/summer session of TOPro.

I have to say...Ragdoll did not look at all the way I expected him to. It's always funny when you meet somebody after seeing so many of their posts on the board.
