New Club VP (now there are 2)

I would like to take this opportunity to Officially announce that as of today, Junior is stepping into a new role as a second Vice President for the Toronto Protege Club.

This club has come a long way since it started in 2002, and it continues to eveolve each day. We have a lot of big things planned for the upcoming years, and as such we felt that it would be valuable to bring on another Vice President. This role will help in decision making, taking the lead on various projects, and just overall keeping things running smoothly from day to day.

I am sure that we do not have to explain how much Leadership Frankie has shown over the past year (and more...but especially the past year). He was a natural selection for the role, and we are sure that he will make us all proud. There is a lot of stuff that goes on behind the scenes in this club, that many members would not even realize. Eventhough a lot of this stuff happens behind the scenes, I am sure that many of you have still noticed how Junior always steps in to get involved in things.

Brian and I are staying on in our roles as Vice President and President (respectively), and Frankie will be an additional Vice President added to the Exec commity.

Frankie has agreed to continue organizing the monthly events, but will take on the new role of Vice President while continuing to do so.

Please take this opportunity to welcome him to his new role. Lots of great things in store for 2007. We can hardly wait! :D

For those who don't know. Junior has been extremely involved behind the scenes. His input to the club is immense and his dedication is inspiring. He is definitely someone who puts the club first without looking for anything in return. He is the perfect addition to the executive team.

I want to thank you all for the kind words and vote of confidence in me to step up to an exec position.

I would like to commend all the officers for all their work behind-the-scenes to get things done and always moving smoothly. We all work together and things would just not be possible without everyone's effort. I'm also very delighted to see Spyder stepping up to his role as reporter and keeping us all informed and up-to-date with the events as they occur and display mounds of enthusiasm in fulfilling his role. Hats off to Spyder for this great job he did last year, and continues to do this year.

I also want to thank all the members of TOProtege, since without you guys here, this place wouldn't be what it is right now. You guys make the events possible and your individual enthusiasm and participation is what drives all of the officers to plan bigger and better events.

I really enjoy the atmosphere we have at TOProtege and the 'family' feel we keep strong. I have made many friends since first joining TOP back in 2004 and always enjoy being a part of your company. Thanks for your support and friendship.

We, the officers, as a whole have many plans for a great 2007 year. Events and meets will continue to be a major part of keeping our club social. We are more than just a web-based forum and plan to keep that bond strong.

As I assumed the role of second VP, alongside thekid and Scoter, I would like to let everyone know that we will always do our best to do the best job we can and make decisions to help expand and build the TOP.

Looking forward to this new role and some great years to come.
