January 17, 2007 - Official January Meet - Area51 Paintball

The Toronto Protege Club kicked off their first meet of 2007 at Area 51 Paintball Park in Downsview Park. In total over 20 participants showed up. Newbies coming in with only a t-shirt to Pro in full gear, all kinds of members showed up. As our reservation was from 8pm-11pm, many members knew each other.

The paintball building itself was very well organized, the refs were very fair and clear about rules, they were also very fun deciding the various games to to be played. Member equiped themselves with their 'markers' and face mask and were off into the play area. They came out with paint on their head to bruises on their asses, everybody got shot and enjoyed it.

Damn how I wish I got this on video or atleast had the guys in focus! The game was near the end when there was only one westsider left and there was this rule you have to give the other side a chance to surrender if you are within 10feet of them. So this Eastsider sneaks up behind the building and points the marker at the lone Westsider and just screams "Freeze mother***ker!" ha ha ha ha ha. Oviously westside gave up :D

Yep... you're right, I've fabricated my business trip to Chicago because I didn't want to go to a TOP social event... please...

No worries... each side has their own weapon of choice that they know how to handle best.... in the East its their guns... Westsiders know how to get around the track the fastest... don't worry, I've already suggest Junior setup a go-kart meet... we can consider that the rematch!
