Well not knowing kelan was going to hit the dyno, I did the same.

Hit up Neetronics in Suaga, Crazy place! Great mechs, and a 4wd dyno, 1 of 5 in ontario supposedly.

Well the runs spent most of the day making maps, but last pull of the day was

10psi, 209hp and 218 torque. Very Happy with these numbers. Since I am not going for a race car I will leave it at that.

130 at the crank, but it only puts out about 100 at the wheels stock.

Yeah, I talked to the guy after, he "claims" that 4th gear isn't very accurate for dyno runs and I had snows on so he would guess I am actually 220 but my sheet says 209.

4th gear isn't accurate?? Hmmm I thought it was considered by most to be the most accurate. If you had your summers on you might have got a bit more since they likely weight less.

Yeah 4th gear is closest to 1:1 gear ratio on our cars and would be the most accurate! Trust me from experience 3rd and 5th will not yield higher numbers.

Congrats Ryan!

Your RHs must be heavy as ***k then? My winters are definitely a lot more heavier then my Konigs, and they are 18s compared to my winter 15s.

now I'm curious. I'm gonna weigh themthis weekend. yeah, they're heavy. overbuilt prob, but they take all sorts of abuse.

Please do, I'm curious as well.

I actually comment to myself everytime I swap my tires to winters how much heavier they are.

ya i can speak for the heaviness of the RH but kevins right they take everything you can throw at them for sure... but my Enkeis are alot lighter and they are also 18s

Oh I am very happy with the numbers. I don't think it is weight as much as slipping on the dyno. Not very good traction.

Hmmmm, interesting on the 4th gear...so I guess I am at 210, which is fine by me.

The whole day cost 1000, but the started at 1:30 and ended at 9 and re mapped the Haltech, what a POS! can barely get it to idle right.

you cant get it idling right now??? after he remapped it?

cruisinblackp5
January 10th, 2007, 05:41 PM
Prob because of the larger Inj. He did get it though, right?

$1000 sounds pretty decent for 7.5 hrs of tuning and dyno usage! I've heard of places that charge $200+/hr for that.

I paid 300 for both times i went. Like about 12hrs worth
