Has anyone purchased their short shifter or know anything about this business? I sent them an email 10 days ago and haven't received a reply. I tried to get a phone number but they don't seem to be listed on Canada411. I think they are somwhere in Quebec but they don't give any info on their website. www.twmperformance.com

A few people got shifters for free for Darknights ..
How do you people like them??

$120 USD seems a bit steep, but maybe we can get special club pricing?
Remember .. the Kartboy shifter is $85 USD = $130 CDN which is basically the same as the TWM except for the bolts and spacers for the heat shield.

So far so goo d with the shifter. I cant complain. With this shifter when you r in gear u know where u r. I was going to buy a shifter from these guys anyways and now that i have it i knew i would have made a wise choice. Those guys all came to DKs so they might have been busy. Email tehm again and tell them where you r from. Maybe they will offer you some disconunts. Or for more info ask Jason (YP5)

I think theyd work on something with you if you told them what club you were from...You havent got a reply from them lately because they were in toronto since Friday at Darknights - Im sure theyre taking a couple days off now.

I like the shifter - it seriously shortened up the throws

I think Dave 323-sw or whatever his posting name is bought one on the weekend from them - i know someone did he'd know the price theyd likely sell it to you for

Totally worth the investment - i dont even have to power shift anymore the throws are so short

*lol* .. Kurt .. and you're wondering why you fucked up your tranny? hahahaha
Don't forget to put in some better tranny fluid .. the shorter throws mean it's a bit harder on the gearbox.

I'll be touching base with them sometime this week. I am going to do a review of the shifter and the install. We are going to figure out a club price and/or a group buy price.

As for my experience with it..... I love it. The workmanship on the product and the throw....is amazing. After getting it installed, I drove around for an hour....just play with it.

I'll keep you posted.

I love mine as well, and finally have gotten used to it. It has such a solid feel to it while shifting.

Is my screen name really all that difficult Kurt?

Anyway, yeah, I did buy one at DKN. I got an even better deal because of a "show price" but I think they were thinking somewhere along the lines of $150 for TPC members. MSRP is $120USD, so you'd be saving about $35 bucks, and Ross brings up a good point. I always like to buy a good Canadian product!
They're better for your car eh!

There wouldn't happen to be a spare one of those kits for free? That's the next mod I want to do as I'm belting my elbow into the console all the (*&^($# time and it aggravates my arthritis (first one who jokes about age and arthritis gets hit with my walker!http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif.

If not, where can I get one and are they difficult to put on?

Anyone know what the difference in throw is between the TWM and the B&G short shifters? I have the B&G shifter but I am always interested in a shorter throw.

Thanx
