Dear TOProtege Members,

It's that time again. The most wonderful time of the year. I am happy to announce the 5th Annual Toronto Protege Club Christmas / Holiday Dinner and Secret Santa Gift Exchange. A fifth anniversary celebration.

I encourage both new and old members to come out to this event and share the holiday season with your club. Turn out in previous years has been between 40 to 50 people and it has always been a great time. As usual, there will be some great prizes that are being donated by our Club Sponsors.

You are more than welcome to bring your significant other (wives, girlfriends, sisters ect.), but we ask that you please post if you are coming alone or with a date, so that we can keep the restuarant informed of accurate numbers. Please plan to arrive before 6 pm that day, as we need to have at least 80% of our group there to be seated, as per our reservation.

NOTE: You are welcome to come to the Dinner without participating in the Secret Santa Gift exchange.
** Secret Santa will be for Club Members only (no significant others)
*** Gifts should be approx. $20 in value so everyone is consistent

Here's How Secret Santa Will Work
1 - If you want to participate, post your name below and if you wish to give a gift suggestion, feel free to put it beside your name.
2 - On Saturday November 25th, I will randomly match up the names. (MAKE SURE TO SIGN UP BEFORE THE 25th)
3 - I will PM everyone with who they are to buy a gift for on Saturday November 25. It is YOUR responsibility to decide on a gift for that person (ie, look at his wishlist or better yet, be creative,...there have been some VERY fun and Creative gifts in the past).
4 - Wrap up the gift and DO NOT mark on it who it is from. ONLY who it is for. It will be placed on a table at the dinner to be handed out by 'Santa' after the dinner.

*Remember that we don't want anyone to break the bank and spend more than anyone else. Try to keep your gift around the $20 mark.

The dinner (ONLY) will be charged under one HUGE bill to me. Sometime during the dinner I will walk around and collect $25 from each person for the dinner. Please remember to have cash to pay for your meal, as debit/visa payment will be difficult to manouver.

**Alcoholic beverages will be billed to each person individually and you can pay for that any conventional way, you prefer.

I just want to be sure that it doesn't become a nightmare collecting dinner payments, when people forget to bring cash, or need a bank machine, or so on. Please be prepared for that part. This is just a heads up! ...

It does not. The $25 covers your dinner, coffee/tea, taxes and gratuity.

I did not include pop/soft drinks since some people drink water and opt out on cola drinks, altogether. Any soft drink/alcoholic beverages will be billed indivuadually and directly to you.

This was my first Christmas party with you guys. I just want to thank everyone for the great time. The guys that set everything up, Top notch. The sponsors, Thank You so much for the great prizes. Everyonewho showed up, great friends, great food, it must be Christmas. We had a great time thank you all so much.

Thanks to all the organizers for putting together a great dinner and to the sponsors for so many prizes. Definately a good first club event to go to, everyone was easy to talk to and friendly. TheKid, I'm looking forward to putting in the shifter.

Ha ha....if it was going to some girlies on Jarvis I would have invited you and tried to work out a 2 for 1 deal. But you would have had to take sloppy 2nds.

But yeah, it went to good use. It covered the envelopes for the Christmas Cards that Junior had made up at work.
