New Central Rep needed

As most of you know now, I'm moving and will no longer be able to be Central Rep. A new one will be 'appointed' but first suggestions and nominations are needed to select a new rep.

I propose a resizing of the Central domain. East, Farm and West all cover relatively large areas of the 905 area code (and others). Let's keep it simple - if your landline area code is 416 or 647 you're Central. Central domain boundaries would follow the area code boundaries which are Hwy 427 to the west, Steeles to the north, and Markham Road to the east. This would redistribute members more evenly and revitalize the Central domain.

bluezoom  I agree with you -- the current boundaries make no sense.  If they are going to be based on your geographic location relative to Toronto, then Toronto should be central.

The resizing and current polarities are abit skewed. Our name Toronto Protege Club is in the title yet it doesn't reflect the livelihood of things.

Stoney Creek in general, may just be considered Westside. I don't think we have a Southside do we? Because of the lake perhaps?

Anyways, Central needs to get a C132 air drop of propaganda promoting membership very much like how leaflets are dropped on Iraq.

Hey Jesse - We bought a house at Lakepointe - (50 Rd & QEW)  Our closing date is tentative cause they're still building the house, but I'll be out there soon.  I'm originally from St. Catharines so I know the area pretty well.  We'll have to hook up once I move down there...

Cardemon I think there should be a Southside if there isn't one already and should include any areas where you can exit the QEW and head NORTH to the lake.

I grew up in Rexdale and there was no way in hell that I considered myself anything else but living in the WESTSIDE. Ask any "coke" (Etobicoke) boy and he'll tell you he's in the WESTSIDE of the T.dot.

Please compare and contrast:

North Albion C.I. vs. Jarvis C.I
Shoppers World Rexdale vs. Eaton Centre
Lowered '88 Accords with gold decals vs. BMW X5s
Phat Farm, Mecca, Roccawear vs. MEC, Banana Republic, Sporting Life
Kipling Station and Bus #45 vs. Queen Station and Queens Quay street car.

The difference is crystal clear, Etobicoke is not central.

EYT you've got WESTSIDE right. However, I don't take Boltonians - I consider them Farmside.

I also think that the TPC does not need another clan cause Central is small enough already without there being a south central. As long as no one messes with the current boundries of WESTSIDE I can care less what the other clans do with their boundries.

Well, I think someone who is really into the organization, has great enthusiasm and initiative, and all of the above, can still do a great job but not have a modded car. Some of us don't have the $$ to mod our car, but still love the meets and getting people together and hearing what people have to say and trying to make things work for the club.
