Last night was a success for the inaugural TPC S.C. meet.
Thanks to all of those in attendence who made it despite the weather, parking and location. In the future I will take into greater consideration the location, parking. I hope the directions were fine and the pricing structure per entree was adequate.

My general goal as President alongside my Vice-President of the TPC Supper Club is to have socialable supper meets at various places around the GTA, with different genres, cultural aspects, casual dress code, yet with a moderate pricing structure.

We are all taking this in stride as we learn what to do and what not to do each time. (DID SOMEONE SAY SEPERATE BILLING?)That issue of separate billing had an impact at a D&B night one time with Amy Dyte (SunBurst).

All in all it was great to see Killian(Kiwee) to his first meet at all, and some old familiar faces. It was great to see Chris(K-Dawg)make the trek from Woodstock in the weather and all who brought their spouses, girlfriends and fiancees along.

I am happy that our car club is social too and we can sitdown joke, talk cars, bring our HUMANITY, INSANITY, and individual personalities behind the alter-egos. This is very important and the main drive behind the idea of the TPC S.C. This is not to undermine other social events or gatherings just good times and good food amongst friendly strangers in a car club.

Paul(Lizard), has suggested to me that our next late March date should be Polish. It was good to see you out after the alleged TPC Rape mis-trial and inproper sentence by public lyrical hanging. You have been acquitted and cleared of all charges. I'll be in contact with him and Jeremy to discuss dates, locations and arrangements. Stay tuned.

Highlightes of last night included many things?
1.Once again, in my own damn establishment.., why was I still the token Blackguy?,.. well sort of! http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

2.Sameer(SilverMP5) damn he got extra Jerky 1/2 chicken dinner of which he must have had a Shop Vac™ stomach to down it faster than most of our smaller entrees. I hope he is not paying for the spiciness today.

3.To all you beer drinkers out there. And yes there was beer there. How did you guys find the Red Stripe? I wouldn't know I hate beer!

4.Killian was bigger than I thought. It seems as if in the athletic department the Westside has a good genetic diposition for sports and physical prowess ..., and the next basketball meet should be very interesting. No disrespect for the other sides, there are guys who regularly work out and it shows. With every new person, they bring to the TPC knowledge, enthusiasm, technical abilities, and social like qualities. It's good to see that.

5.Jeremy(Sky_Hi) sporting the new sophisticated middle-eastern, Oil shiek, Al-Quieda, Hezbollah, Muhajidein, P.L.O., Westernized University studying, terrorist cell member in waiting terrorist look; suited him fine. Nice goatee dude. I am going to submit some of my pictures to the FBI, CIA, Interpol website and see if your picture has any feedback.
Trust me Jeremy, I'm just in it for the reward money.
You did mention that you were in Air Cadets or had flying interest in your younger years.
Yeah right buddy. It's damn terrorist types in sleeper cells like yours that will get the call to parachute with a bomb strapped to your damn back. I'm watching son.

6.Chris(K-Dawg) his car is coming along nicely, expecially that fiberglass interior. Taxmasta I think that the 1st place trophies you've been recieving in the Protege class will be now turned into 3rd place participant ribbons when this guy gets out on the circuit.

7.Guillio(Bumble G.) real name pronounced with the first syllable 'J'. I am surprised that his plate was fairly clean. I was very worried about him. You will have to talk to us about Italian eateries in the near future.

8.Thanks to all who made my friends Allan and Vivian welcome. They are not part of the club just acquaintances who love the socialism of the club.

Hope to see other members out soon!!!!

Did someone say basketball????? Westside will run ALL other sides off the court!
CAN I GET MINE EXTRA JERKEY???? hahahahahahaha, Sameer, great first impression on me.
I think the phrase "can i get another red stripe" was the most used for the evening!
k-dawg> crazy interior!

Alas, unfortunatelly I was not able to get out, since my neice got the pox and I was kinda occupied with running errands...

(i love the way the P5 spins out in the snow... when I wanted it to that is....)

Sounds like the P.S.C is a success Demon!
Wait till the resident fatty get's in on the action...

Polish?? Like the hotdog/sausage vendors outside the Eatons Center??

Basketball... hmmm, nah, don't think i should go there again... still limping from last time... perhaps a round of golf is more my speed... or some DH mountain biking... (I know Navy would be up for that action.)

Anyways, sorry I couldn't make it, but hopefully next time.

BTW, it took me 3.5 hours @ 60 km/h to get home in 8" of snow on the 401 (one single lane of traffic goint from far lane to inside lane) and NO SNOWPLOWS YET AT 12 am!

It was a great night out.

That was my first Jerk experience. I like the spicyness. It's not too burn off you're mouth it's just right. Although I didn't finish all the food on the plate I was full. (small stomach). It was good to see everyone enjoying the meal.

The drive home was interesting. The 5 is great in the snow. But I already knew that from last years winter when I showed up some 4WD SUV's trying to climb a snow covered dirt road. Most of the way home was snow covered highway. I was always in the far left doing about 80 passing everyone else. the only car that passed me was an A6. that dude was flying.

It'll be hard to find a nice Italian place with resonable pricing and "real" italian food. Not the McVeal or McPasta type places but ones where the cheff is a nice old italin lady that cooks like she does at home.

My name is kinda decieving when you see it. Giulio. just pronounce it jew-le-o.

Looking forward to the next TPSC meet

Just for the record (and for those who don't know me)... What Michael said was a JOKE! I may be sporting a new look, but I am NOT one of those individuals.

I must say, I have had many females complementing me on my new look, (and that is all counts). FLAVOUR SAVOUR!!

Food was good. But remind me next time not to get the 'Goat Roti'. Way too many bones for my liking.

Guillio, Italian with small stomach. http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif
Sameer, I know I frequent downtown on weekends and I would hook-up for another round. We'll even get Otter to join since he lives a couple of blocks away.

Pawood, my opening appetizer of jerk wings was tasty and had a nice zip to it. Take some of those back to your congregation at Sunday Mass and in no time at all you'ld have a Pentecostal Church!!!

There would hollering, jumping, clapping, screaming and people running to sip some water, even the Holy Water.

K-Dawg and girlfriend; sometime in the spring, the masses need to head out your way. I'm not too sure who has the space like a farm or a mini-Provincial Park, but a pot luck bar-b-que should go down. I want the TPC members to taste my Award Winning Ghetto Fabulous bar-b-que pork chops and chicken breasts. I held the undisputed title from 88-91 in N.W. Metropolitan Detroit, S.Queensbridge Projects, Long Island Davisville Projects and the Jane & Finch classic events.

I have been inquiring to some Polish friends at work and they have a place at Dixie & Dundas in Mississauga called Fragata. Paul(Lizard) I'll consult you to places you know and you can deem as good to serve our goals and needs. From just a general feeling a place to serve and reserve spots for at least 20 people is adequate. We'll talk.!!!

Why do i get the feelin' that we are talking about another kind of baseball?
Anyways, man it's all good. You would have had a good meal.
There was beer there too.!!!!
PM me on the baseball game. Is there a new team you are trying to sign with? Are you a free agent just going to a tryout and interview? Why has the old franchise been tracking you? Are you thinking of resigning with the old team?

'Demon,

I'm seriously sorry for missing this event, but circumstances beyond my control dictated otherwise - truly a pity, as I've been craving a good eating fest since the TPC Christmas bash.

dr_"don't tell me Sameer beat you in an eating match???"_sarcasm.

I never realized Sameer's enthusiasm and love he previously had to the Jerk Chicken. And he was so enthusiastic that he had the balls to ask the server that he wanted it EXTRA JERKY. He said it ALRIGHT!!!, but I didn't realize till he cleaned his plate.

I betchya if it were him and I dem bones that were cleaned on his plate would be mulched to sawdust....but that would be too ghetto for sophisticated guys like us. I had the stew beef dinner cause I was thinking about some emotional things and I had a wee bit of heartburn and high anxiety from organizing the event and wondering if my directions and followup posts included everyone.

I put out the offer for anyone and Sameer that we can do it again unofficially too. I frequent downtown to hit up record stores for vinyl. Our next TPC Supper Meet will be late March once again with a Polish Restaurant.!!!!!
