The Toronto Protege Club gathered for the third TOprotege Familia Picnic since its coming in 2003. From the 18 proteges that showed up for this event last year, it amazingly jumped to over 47 proteges! The weather was nice to us and it only started to rain near the end of the event. Although some had left early while others arrived late, all of the members had a great time. Junior, being the events organizer, had organized this event very well. Food, games, prizes, votings, etc were all part of this year's Familia Picnic.

Upon arrival to the TOprotege Familia Picnic, members were greeted with lunch already pre-cooked from the BBQ thekid(Brian) had trailored over. After lunch, members had the chance to walk around the parking lot checking out the other 50 proteges that had showed up. From custom turbo kits to underglow neons, all kinds of Proteges came to this picnic. Soon, Junior started the games which were enjoyed by most while others voted for the Best Protege. As the games and voting went on, the clouds above us could no longer hold the rain and started slowly misting. The games continued with the slight mist and the awards + prizes were given out.

Thanks to all that participated in the days competitions, and gave their all in races/events throughout the day. Event wiinners include: 3-legged race; Felix (2.0P5) & Mickey (JDM+), Balloon Stomp; Ryan (MP5Ryda) & Pat (Evil_y2k_twin), Human Wheel Barrel Race; Andrew (Cocco) & Anna (Preludegirl), Hula-Egg Balancing Relay; Ed (Romeo_MP5) & Vicky (MPV03)

All the above winners were then put into a raffle style entry and prizes were awarded by their names being pulled in order that prizes came up. The following prizes were awarded.

The Show & Shine part of the day was an ongoing event thoughout the day and all entered vehicles were given voting cards so they could choose the car they felt was the "Best of Show". Congratulations to ricecookerP5 for taking 1st place, with dj_baby_tenshi and Pro2nr close behind, tied for second. A plaque was awarded to ricecooker for taking the top spot.
