Met a fellow MSP owner at TimesSquare

I was driving through TimesSquare in richmond hill on valentines day. Got honked a couple of times while driving by. Looked at my rearview mirrow to see nice P5 headlights and foglights. Turnded out to a fellow msp owner.

Anyways, I forgot the guy's name. He introduced me to this club. Anyways if that was you, give me a shout.

LOL TCC used to go there in the winter time and use the underground but from what I hear they are not allowed there anymore something happened this past winter.

haha, yo i went to like 3 of those tcc meets, when i still was driving my civic. i think some of the store owners complained about the meeting, thus tcc had to relocate. damn that was such a good meeting place n so close to me.

Yes, it was a nice meeting place, especially during the winter months, however coming from Burlington everywhere out that way is far from me so it makes no diff.

unfortunately we have never met. i have a deposit on a mspeed at avante which the dealer tells me will arrive in april. anyways i look forward to getting the car, but i was just wondering how some of the current owners of mspeed's are enjoying their cars. oh by the way i drive a 98 civic hatchback presently.

Hey JY speed.
Seems like a lot of people is getting their Mspeed from Avante. I can't believe you have to wait 'til April to get yours. I believe they already sold over 2 MSP's from that dealer. Anyway, my MSP is great! Although the rear clunk is terrible whenever the road is uneven. Going over bumps is not pretty unless you go over at SLOW speed. I occasionally get a 'hiccup' feel in the throttle when i back off the throttle around 3500rpm when spoolin'. It causes a jerk in the car's accerlation. I don't know why this happens, but it's not fun. Anyway, i'm currently still on winter tires, so i haven't gotten a chance to have some fun with it yet. It's terrible!! Give me a fe wmore weeks, until i mount my rims back on then i'll tell you how she is.... :)

Hey Limited, I know every MSP got the clunk problem. But it's the first time I know I'm not alone on the &quot;hiccup&quot; throttle! Cheers!

I agree about a meet soon. Are you planning on going to the Sherway Garden meet? I was planning on organizing a pre-meet for us MSP owners, then we could cruise there together since we don't even know anyone. I think many of us would agree that it's hard for some of us to go out there to a bunch of stranger's that we've never met before to just talk about our cars. At least, if we have this pre-meet we can feel a little bit more comfortable when we meet more strangers. :confused:

I've been a little busy and haven't had time to reply to these msgboards.

JY SPeed - Honking at a msp would do no good. When colouredwolf was honking at me, i couldn't hear a thing. hahaha got to learn to turn down the music.

Limited Edition - You know, I'm actually living in richmond hill. I reside on major mak and leslie. Been hanging out at coffee time a bit lately.

Colourwolf - I actually find my car is a bit wierd and has a lot of problems. My msp clunks but it's not bad. Only hear it when my music is turned off! http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif However sometimes it's loud and annoying but i can stand it. Also i notice when i accelerate hard, it feels jumpy. Feels like a turbo problem or something. But when you hear that turbo at full throttle, sounds amazing, then psssssss! The BOV is pretty cool but not loud enough.

I might make it to the meet on saturday though. Should be fun. Never been to a meet. Feels wierd chilling with a bunch of guys i don't know. I'm usually timid when i don't know people in person. http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/blush.gif
