by the way, you are going to need to bend the metal tabs for the front fender inner lining because under hard cornering it will rub against it. just a heads up for you

i tried some tough corners thismorning... no rubs... even hwy on ramps at like 100... still fine, but i'll keep and eye and an ear out for that, thanks

what size tires were you running? 205/40/r17's?
Mike_Moss
August 30th, 2006, 01:04 PM
Rub will depend on tire size and wheel size/offset.

August 30th, 2006, 01:17 PM
^^ yeah i know, thats why i wanted to know what size tires he had on while using these springs.... cause so far i am in the clear...

Yeah, I saw, just thought I'd note it as well as the offset & wheel size - often gets overlooked and has more of a bearing than tire size.

yeah good point, i wonder what he was running? progt91... lemmie know what your wheel and tire specs are....mike has got me curious now...

i think its a 40 offset (think) i will have to check it out. they are the same rims as gen1gts. size is 205 40 17. i just bent up those tabs and the problem was solved

^^ so true, but in the back of my car, even with 2 people, it just doesnt work out as well as you think.... best way is to push both front seat allllll the way forward.... even then i prefer the hood ;)
