Ok, so heres the low down, i got the auto exec stuff, went to get it painted. From the start, the Lip Spoiler didn't look right! there was two bubbles on the bottom, as if someone had placed it on something hot and it melted. Also It looked as if someone had poured something over the top and then tried to wipe it off. Now that is the way i received it. I
thought that perhaps it was just some coating for shipping but when i took it to get painted they told me it need to be fully sanded and that it was of "inferior quality". Also the grill when it was preped and then painted came out with hundreds of tiny holes in it. I was told that it was a manufacturing defect in the fibre glass. The grill now has to be re-preped sanded, bondo put in the holes and then repainted and cured. Now we actually sell body shop equipment so i know that it was not the application, I just don't think that Auto Exec is as cracked up as it should be. Very disappointed. The friend painting it for me will fix it and it will look as good as new, but for someone that just shelled out that type of cash and then has to get it all repreped just to get it painted. Auto Exec would be a crazy expensive kit.
My two cents. I don't think people are concerned about replicating the kit because it would turn out to be far superior than the ones from Japan. In my eyes Auto Exec is Crap and i would condone anyone buying it, however it does look good, quality is shit!
My two cents from an unsatisfied customer!!!!!!

This might be irrelevent if you had actually imported it directly from Japan, but did you buy it from someone here who sorta took the orders? Maybe they replicated it and it was bad?? Just my view of this..

Hey Ed,

I really hope you express all this to the place you bought it from. You shelled out alot of cash for a quality product...sorry to hear http://toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif

That is very unfortunate indeed. It may be a case of one slipping thru the cracks of quality control. But what guarantees do we have, especially stuff that are imported from abroad ? Like Sondra said, show the vendor that you're not a happy camper...

http://toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif hate to hear stuff like that. Glad that you're getting it fixed though. I guess the best thing you can do is what you've done, get the word out

sorry to hear about your unfortunate mishap with the kit.
i guess the AutoEXE kit isn't all that hyped up.

but darkhero had a good question.... is it possible that what you received was a replica? is there any special logos, markers or symbols to tell you that it is authentic AutoEXE?

if you're ever sick of autoexe lip and you wanna sell it... i got first dibs... lol.... http://toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

I was gonna suggest that too..sounds like YOU got a replica...and if you did, I would SERIOUSLY BLAST that dude from Vancouver that was stirring up all the shit on EZBoard about you replicating it!

If it is a rep., Let me know, I am going to Edmonton at the end of May, so just gimmie the word, and I will pin my rental car all the way to Vancouver to Bitch Slap the MOFO that sold you the junk!

hehehe...playin' (well kinda)
