Did have .. but Buena has them now. You could get some ordered from Wheel & Tire Zone for about $50 each and then they will be made custom.

This is a cut and paste when I was looking into Winter packages...

I inquired and looked at the technician's catologue at a Brampton Walmart, and they have a 14" 5 X's 114.3 bolt circle rims for the P5.

It is a multi application wheel: catologue number
X99105-N. It goes for $39.97/pc. and is ordered through them.

Mazda in Oakville said that you must have 15" min wheels for the P5, I assume that because you are mentioning the 14" steelies, that this is not the case?

14's will fit.

Maybe not all 14's though. There is very very tight clearance over the rear calipers. I have photos to prove it http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

Specific 14" Steelies will fit the P5.
Around 1/2 dozen of us P5 owners are living and driving the MIRACULOUS feat of Science and technology. I just wanted a more affordable tire and wheel package that's why I went to 14's.

Rowan,
Can you please send me pics. of the tire clearence?
I'm thinking of getting winter package very soon but, not sure what size I should go with? Are you sayin' that 14" tires are not a good thing?

Thanks,

14's are good from a cost savings point of view, and also if you are going to be running in deep snow it gives you extra sidewall. There will be a handling tradeoff because of the taller sidewall, and Winter tires are already usually less stiff than summer tires. They are really no closer to the calipers than a lot of other OEM rims so clearance is not something you need to worry about.

Hmmm! I'm gonna check that number out myself. They usually have 6-5 guys over 3 bays doing quick tire changes and 2 guys manning the phones plus a manager.

Not bad at all for more notable brand names compared to what I got and could afford last year.

Hope things go well for you and others if they still want the common sense of getting dedicated winters but still don't have the ALQEIDA bank account. http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif
