Very nice - great job. The carbon fibre exhaust is a nice touch.
Question about the Ractive intake - is this the same one I could pick up at my local Mazda dealer for $147? It certainly looks like what I saw in their showroom - same yellow tubes/accents. If so, I'm wondering how this intake would compare to the much more expensive AEM or Injen. I had a quote recently for just under $500 for the AEM and just over $500 for the Injen - a far cry from $147 and more than I will spend on an intake. However, if the AEM is that much better, I found a deal on a US website and they now ship to Canada - $198 US = ~$300 Cnd. (www.worksmotorsport.com)
Let me know your opinion of the Ractive and if you think it would out perform my K&N drop in - I'm looking for more go than show - not just something pretty under the hood.
I know Dave (mp5navy) is an AEM fan...more comments welcome!
Thanks, marque
Update July 10 - I've ordered the blue AEM short ram and squeaked in for the previous price listing of $159 US - yes! http://msg.toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

how are the seats coming? from the manual, it doesn't look like it is too difficult to take apart the stock seats if you need to..

Dude your rims are SICK!!! probably the best I have seen so far, how much did you pay for them with rubber? I only ask cuz I plan on dropping rims next year cuz I blew the budget this year and want to know how long I will have to eat KD for while at school. I heard wheels direct was really good and good prices, you heard of them??

wheels direct have some pretty good deals and a wide variety, i was gonna get my rims from them, but i went with ROH, which they didn't have... anyways, that's not the point, the point is that i heard from my local auto shop guy <-- he's good friends with wheels direct owner and he told me that the owner's a really nice guy, but some of the people who work for him really dont know what they're doing.. i'm not sure what he ment... oh well, they're still good

and to add to the previous post i made:
when i went to wheels direct, i liked this really nice set but it was 4 lug.... and the person told me that they can fix that and its not a problem.... i dont know how, but that scared me a little

so where did you end up going to get your rims? I am from guelph and there aernt to many places that have a wide variety or reasonable prices. I am guessing that they run, with rubber, from $1500 to $4000 if you wanna go with some fat chrome dubs. let me know if you know of any good stores

Allshowp5: Thanks for the feedback. As for the price retail in cluding the Kuhmo tires is around $3000. I'd have to recheck (i didn't pay retail).
I'm still in the midst of working out a club discount at Wheels. And the guys at Wheels are more overworked and undermanned than unintelligent. The owner is great!
