Front Lip on a 99?

Well me and a buddy were bord one day so we went to the Wreckers again..
this time i was looking for a Front lip to fit my 99, why b/c they don't make them. and me being a cheap ass mother ***ker was the best way to go well this is what i ended up with today... gonna take it back off and paint it silver when i have a few extra $$ for the paint and primer.. but you get the jist of it for now..

It looks like a Civic lip.

That looks like the front lip from either a 92-95 si coupe or the rear skirt from an accord. I once played that go to the wreckers and find stuff that i can make fit stage. At least your getting creative!!! Thats how you get a one off ride!!!! But you should have painted to match or cleaned it up a bit!!

it will be painted just need to get it in a can. i was just doing a mock up yestarday. and it was off a honda. Good eye.

Was the fit pretty close, or did you need to cut it?

dont think its to bad considering the skirts and the front there only cost me 30 plus paint.. so about 70 but i can get 6 cans of paint out of the quart..

It looks closer to an SiR lip, as the CTR is a bit different (more agressive looking). I had a CTR lip on my old EL

My old car.. as you can see the ends stick out more and are larger then the lip pictured above.

if you're looking to make it work on your pro. I have a CTR lip kicking around off a 98 civic. brand new still sealed. it might be worth trying to mod on the pro bumper.. looks lik eit'll fit with the right mod.

^In the futre perhaps, for now I'm trying to work my money into a new dual vented hood from joe. :) I think There's a local guy to me ehre that wants to buy my OEM cf hood though..or maybe Adele will jsut take it off my hands.. in which case I'll really need to save lol.

The CTR lip, will not fit on the Pro, there is no way to make it fit i even cut one in half that i had gotten from BlackP5ca lines are completly off, and the bends on the coarner do match up. i think it sticks out about 4-5 inches either side, therefor the end on the lip will not match up with the end of the bumerp. don't even bother trying unless you wanna just bondo like hell.. actually i don't thik it would fit even with all the bondo. jsut don't waste the time not worth it. .

With the right mod, you can do anything. Plus this is your chance to be different.

Contact the guys at SFT, and the'll help you out. It will work. Gary's trying to do ALL the work out of his home garage, and of course it won't work. Pay someone and get it done, right. It's possible. Anyway PM me if you want to try it out, it looks really pimp. Plus it could be had cheap.

No seriously tho even if i didn't try doing this from my home, 99 Pro Go to a performance shop before you buy it take a look at it. and see that it will not mold your car, Or you can just buy the one off Junior wait 2-3 weeks for shipping and then come back on here in about a month saying you spend 200$ and id just donesn't fit. the CTR one doesn't fit... your probably better to try and find the AUTOEXE one or a MSP front. you woudl have better luck wiht that.

Ya, that is all they sell is the 01+ front lip.

You have to go the custom route for a front lip for the 99/00 model. We got the shaft big time on this.
