Well, I decided I'm going to start painting all of the sand-silver coloured accents on the interior of my P5. My car is Silver so I have decided on a matching silver for the parts as well as a Transluscent Iridecent Blue top coat. Hopefully it will look alright with my other blue accents on the car. When finished it should look like a regular Silver paint until the light hits it and the blue flakes in the top coat will appear at certain angles. Any suggestions would be great (good or bad) just want some input first before I go and screw up the interior of my car. Thanks in advance.

Some advice:

1. Buy good paint - don't be a cheap ass. I used Foliatec. I also used Foliatec cleaner, primer, paint, and sealant.

2. Work in a completely dust free environment.

3. Have fine grade wet sandpaper at the ready to correct mistakes.

4. Do several VERY light coats rather than 2 thick ones.

5. Clean the pieces to be painted very well.

6. Work in batches. Don't attempt to paint everything at once work 4 peices at a time.

7. Work strokes of paint beyond the edges of the masked area for the cleanest effect.
