hey guys does anyone of you replaced your fog lights yet cause it says in the owners manual to go to the dealer.. it seems that you need to jack up the car in order to change the bulbs??...and to clarify is it H4 for the driving lights(daytime&lowbeam) and H7 for fogs?? any help on this would be great..

no, H7 are the beams and H3 are the fogs... and no, u don't need to get to a dealership to change the bulbs... it's a bit more difficult than regular beams, but u can do it yourself easily... u remove a plastic protection thing under the front bumper (if u can't squeeze by it), remove a 13 or 14 screw that holds the entire casing, and than remove the other screws holding the cover, and there you go, there's the bulb... happy digging, i'm gonna do the same sunday http://toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif i got yellow bulbs for my fogs, can't wait to put them on.

Yeah, you gotta remove that plastic flap and hold it out of the way to get to the foglight casing.
it's held together by 3 or 4 screws only.
i tried removing the bolt during the winter and i couldn't loosen it. it was so friggin tight but i think its cuz metal contracts when it's cold..... or maybe i'm weak... http://toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mad.gif
yellow is different... the last few years, everybody went to hyper white and blue. yellow was in a few years ago .... but i think it's making a comeback on some cars.
what colour car do you have rox?

color? silver...
and i'm not going with yellow as much for the color as for the functionality... i got super-whites for the beams, but those are not that good in the fog, yellow breaks the fog better... u'll see poles with yellow light on the highways in europe all over the place. They're there for a reson.
I would have went for one red and one blue, but heh, don't have that much money to make fun of cops now http://toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif maybe some other time !!!

The nut at the back of the fog lights is a 14mm fo shizzle. Just reach under and around the plastic flap at the bottom of the bumper. I managed to unbolt the fogs without any problems at all despite my car being lowered (no need to jack it). Tip: When the fogs come loose place a rag between the fog light unit and the bumper to avoid scratching. It is such an easy procedure you will be embarassed that you even asked! http://toprotege.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/crazy.gif

ok, mine's done... did it sunday afternoon... super whites and yellow fogs... works sweet, and you can even see from inside where the fogs reach and where the actual beams are... sweet...

ok, as far as install... it took me like 30 minutes total... a can of WD40 or however is called is always handy to loosen those bolts behind the light enclosure... other than that, it's as easy an 1-2-3... one objection to the design though... the wires are so short, u have to reack into a not so comfortable position to unscrew the 2 screws holding the cap on the enclosure... another inch and a half of wire would have been sweet...
