February 8th. The temperture outside was approximatly -7c, windchill of -16c.

The Toronto Protege Club started this year with an All You Can Eat Ribs meet at Montana's Cookhouse starting at 7:00pm. With the cold weather outside, members brought their winter beaters and show cars along. Near 20 members in attended this event. Although there were some problems with individual bills afterwards, everything was sorted out. A great meet to start off the 2006 year.

good times as always. Learned some very interesting facts at this meet:

Lil Freek - doesn't like meat, he just wants to suck on the bone
Junior - is ashamed that he's repping a week clan
HWY Demon - took 20 minutes to realize that there were some cute waitresses in the restaurant (shame on you man!)
Bottomless Pit from H & H (Steve's Business Associate) - likes to eat cornbread (ate 12 pieces and nearly died when they tried to charge him $0.69 each for every extra one after the first one) :p
Raptors - suck
Freestyle - gave me a free sub, but I decided to pass it on to Paul because he was looking for one
Chronos - came out of hiding for this meet (didn't even realize he was there until I saw him leaving)
The Kid - first time I've seen him show up to a meet without a handful of parts for various people
Tiwing - appeared drunk and dillusional after eating 1.5 racks of ribs. Eyes were glazed and sat in a somewhat comotose happy state with a weird smirk on his face (maybe gas?)
